Million Dollar Decorators

Have you heard about this show? I am so excited about it. It premiered yesterday and it is set on my DVR. I only got to watch about 5 minutes this morning while I was feeding my little boy.

Country Living

I think the proportion and scale are better. I like the old door too. I think they should have used an old door on the other side too.

I am hoping to begin the process of my dining room redo this weekend. I hope to post some before pics soon. I still have to take them.

First Decorating Redo

I have been working on developing a plan to redo my dining room. I need to take some before pics but I have been busy. I know likely excuse but it is true. And the fact is with a little baby in the house, the redo will be slow going. But I hope to post some before pics soon.

New Book

I finally got this book. I ordered it from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and I finally received it.

It is really a beautiful book. And from what I have read so far, I agree with a lot of her decorating philosophies.

One of them is to not buy stuff to just fill a room. I really agree with this. It is really worth it to wait for what you really want in a room. I have made this mistake one too many times. When you have things you don't like in a room, it causes stress not harmony. I will post examples later.

If you want this book, look at Amazon. It is much cheaper than the retail price of $50!
